People First of Alberta (PFAB) is a non-profit provincial organization that is part of the international PEOPLE FIRST movement. PFAB has been the independent voice of self-advocates in Alberta for over 20 years.

Our society is made up of a group of PFAB Members from across Alberta who want to ensure that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are included and respected in our communities as full citizens.

OUR VISION:

PFAB envisions Alberta as a progressive community where all people are:

• included and involved;

• honoured and respected;

• seen for their abilities; and

• supported to participate.
