People First of Alberta (PFAB) is a non-profit provincial organization that is part of the national PEOPLE FIRST movement. People First members are people who have been labeled with an intellectual or developmental disability (self-advocates). PFAB has been the independent voice of self-advocates in Alberta for over 20 years. We speak for ourselves - Nothing About Us Without Us. 

Our group is made up of People First Members from across Alberta. We are working to make sure that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are included and respected in our communities as full citizens.
